The 5th Annual All About Downtown Street Fair will feature more than 200 vendors – up from 150 last year. The event takes place on Saturday, September 19 from 11 am to 8 pm and will run along Newark Avenue between Grove Street and Jersey Avenue. Two hours have been added this year to extend the event festivities.
More than 25,000 people attended the festival last year and organizers expect a bigger crowd this year. The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District (HDSID), which organizes the festival, has procured a wide variety of exhibitors including the many brick-and-mortar businesses within the special improvement district, more children’s activities are planned and more sponsors have signed on to support the event. The organizers stress that the All About Downtown Street Fair would not be possible without the generosity of its many sponsors and supporters.
