Jersey City Independent Weekend Best Bets
There are plenty of interesting this to do this weekend—including the All About Downtown Street Fair! More than 40,000 people are expected to attend this year’s 6th annual event and will feature more than 300 vendors. Look for the Jersey City Independent at space #230 on Newark Ave. between Jersey Ave. & Coles St. Come say, “Hello!” and pick up a copy of the latest JCI magazine Fall issue.
Farmer’s markets continue throughout the Fall. The weekend is a great time to stock up on fresh produce at the markets while meeting up with neighbors and staying involved with the community.
Save the date for the 8th Annual “Tales of Our Cities” Jersey City Library Book Festival on Saturday, September 25 in Van Vorst Park—the event showcases locally and nationally acclaimed authors.
