Hull Gallery, which features spectacular views of the New York City and Jersey City skylines as well as the surrounding area from of the college’s Library Building, located across from the Journal Square PATH station. Tonight’s event is jointly organized by the Jersey City Cultural Affairs Office and the Jersey City Arts Council.

At tonight’s information session, which takes place from 5:30-7:30 pm, you can learn how to participate in this year’s JCAST as an artist or as a curator. Organizers will be on hand to discuss this year’s tour vision and strategy, answer questions and walk people through the improved signup process. Light refreshments will be served.

The 2017 Jersey City Art & Studio Tour will be held October 13-15. The deadline to list your event is August 14. Why so early? So there is ample time to promote the tour. “This is a great year to open your studios, find collaborators, connect with venues (or locations that may be interested in showing art) because we are focusing on the tour experience throughout the weekend,” stated Christine Goodman (Jersey City’s new Director of Cultural Affairs). “We are encouraging artists to open their doors to the public this amazing weekend.”

JCAST 2017 Warm-Up informational session will be held July 18, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Hudson County Community College in the Benjamin J. Dineen and Dennis C. Hull Gallery, 71 Sip Ave., 6th Fl.
